Thank you to everyone who came to Meet the Teacher Night at Hawthorne. Some students felt nervous, while others were so excited. Friendships were sparked tonight and now we're even more excited than ever to welcome you back to school on Thursday!

This morning we graduated our kindergarteners to full fledged FIRST GRADERS!! We're so proud of you and can't wait to see the wonders you accomplish in First Grade!!!

We're so happy the weather has been cooperating with our Field Day, today!!! We're full of smiles, joy, and excitement for summer break!!! It's a fun day to be a Hawk, that's for sure!!!

If your student has any books checked-out from the Hawthorne Media Center/Library, please be sure to put them in your student's backpack over the weekend to be returned on Monday. We're still missing over one hundred books and we're trying to help Mrs. Moore keep our library full of resources for the rest of our Hawks! We LOVE that you're reading and thank you, so much, for returning your books!!

Great job to our Hawks who were recognized, last week, at the MSD Warren Township Art Show! Thank you Mrs. Downard for all of the hard work you've put in, this year, to make sure our students can sparkle and shine! Check out some of the fantastic art work that was displayed for the township to see!

Classes will preview the fair today and tomorrow, and can shop Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Take a look to see what's available this season.
